OUR COMMITMENT TO GIVING BACK
We support two non-profit organisations:
The Great Ocean Clean-Up at an international level and the Yayasan Saraswati Foundation locally in Bali.
YAYASAN JEGOG SARASWATI FOUNDATION
The Yayasan Jegog Saraswati Foundation is a locally registered non-profit organisation founded in 1998 by our founder, Ibu Saraswati.
While many areas and communities benefit from the prosperity generated by tourism in Bali, others remain largely untouched by these economic opportunities, leaving local communities with few opportunities to generate income from tourism.
In the remote western part of Bali, for example, the Yayasan Jegog Saraswati Foundation supports a local village community by providing and managing the funds needed to ensure that children have the opportunity to learn about, practise and preserve Bali’s centuries-old cultural traditions, particularly traditional dance and music.
These funds help cover the purchase and maintenance of equipment and materials, the engagement of qualified dance and music teachers, and English-language lessons.
Through this initiative, the foundation helps preserve Bali’s rich cultural heritage while creating valuable educational opportunities for the next generation.
THE GREAT OCEAN CLEAN-UP
The Great Ocean Clean-Up is an international organisation dedicated to keeping our oceans clean through innovative solutions, including the removal of plastic waste.
Its activities also extend to Indonesia, where it contributes to efforts to keep rivers clean and reduce plastic pollution before it reaches the sea.
By supporting this initiative, we contribute to the protection of marine environments and the preservation of Indonesia’s natural beauty for future generations.
